A letter to the worst billboard on the planet.

I’m sorry, but I just had to tell you. I couldn’t drive past you one more day on my way to work and not say anything. You are, in a word, awful. Just awful. So awful, in fact, I have included your picture here to show you how awful you are.

The complete waste of potential. The type. The redundancy. The shadows. The brazen use of exclamation points. Everything about you is appalling. And I know you don’t care. You just sit there day in and day out and mock me as I pass. You’re aggressively content with who you are, which makes you even worse.

But wait – you did make me think about you, oh billboard. I can’t help but look at you every day, and take in your clear message. I even went so far as to visit your website. Could this effect truly be the cause of the “worst billboard on the planet?”

Yes. Yes it can. And you are.

I hate you.
