It’s that time of year again.
Ahhh, spring. It brings warmer weather. Playoff hockey. And the annual CW agency retreat. Gene McCarthy’s in the Old First Ward was this year’s location, and certainly set the tone for the day – celebrating the hardworking spirit of our city (and agency).
After a delightful breakfast and a State of the Agency address from our very own Jim Hettich, it was time for our very special guest. Since Lance Diamond was busy, we brought in Jon Reiling, Director of Creative Development at AKQA in Washington, D.C. When Jon was finished walking us through some pretty impressive digital stories, we were treated to a nifty tour of Buffalo.
Under the guidance of Ms. Marla, and with Pabst Blue Ribbons in hand, we boarded a big yellow bus and hit the road, exploring many of the historical gems our city has to offer.
And what would an agency retreat be without embarrassing the new kids? This year’s public humiliation came in the form of Double Dream Hands.
