Winner, winner: chicken chili dinner.

All the stars came out for CW’s Second Annual Chili Cook-Off this past Friday. Okay, it was just us Crowley Webbers, plus one guest judge – our client and pal Becky Farbo. Five contestants poured their hearts and tomato sauce into what were five uniquely surprising chili recipes – one of which wasn’t chili at all. In the end, each received some sort of award for his or her effort, with the biggest winner being the agency at large – we all got to taste the special creations when judging had finally concluded. (Oh, and if you had followed our Facebook postings on Friday at all, you know full well this event almost didn’t even take place.)

So, without further ado, the winners were:

People’s Choice Award – Pete Reiling, for his Monstrous Mac and Cheese
Most Innovative – Maria Lettiere and Casey Kelly for their Chicken Wing Chili
Most Likely to Cause Gas – Erin Haskell for her Musical Fruit Chili
Most Meats – Jim Hettich for his Meatplosion Chili
Best Classic Chili – Jeff Pappalardo for his Chili by Jeff
Best in Show – Matt Low for his Evil in a Cup
