Account Manager

At Crowley Webb, the Account Manager is a collaborative, strategic thinker who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, serving as a critical link – along with senior-level Account Management – between the client and the entire agency team. In this position, you’ll be responsible for understanding the client’s business and their competition in order to develop appropriate marketing strategies, crafting well-targeted and inspirational creative briefs, working to ensure the agency is meeting the client’s needs, and managing the financial health of all assigned accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the activity of key client/agency relationships
  • Lead internal and client meetings specifically related to strategy or issue resolution
  • Nurture the business relationship with the client and continually seek ways to add value to the client/agency relationship
  • Thorough understanding of client’s industry, target audience, and competitive set
  • Prepare insightful creative briefs that inspire breakthrough creative concepts
  • Work with Analytics and/or Media teams to prove campaign effectiveness and ROI
  • Oversee client budgets, monitor annual financial performance of accounts
  • Resolve client issues in a manner that is mutually beneficial to the agency and client; escalate to upper management when needed
  • Occasional support of agency new business efforts
  • General knowledge of agency clients and their industries

Qualifications

  • Passionate, motivated, and hardworking
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or a related field
  • 5-7 years agency or marketing experience
  • Effective problem solver
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Confident presenter
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • High level of organization
  • Confident and assertive
  • Strong work ethic
  • High competency level on computer and software skills compatible with job responsibilities
  • Professional conduct within and outside office while conducting agency business
