HR Manager

Crowley Webb is currently seeking a talented and professional Human Resource (HR) Manager to join our team and establish an HR department within the organization. This person will take ownership of all HR matters across the company from recruitment to performance reviews, employee relations, compliance, and learning and development. While not responsible for managing payroll or employee benefits directly, the HR Manager will work very closely with the accounting team and our strategic partners in these areas. To perform well in this role, you should have experience working independently in HR or as part of an HR team, and be looking to grow in your career in a company that values culture, hard work, and fun.

  • Create, implement, and evaluate all human resource department policies, procedures, and structures
  • Work with department heads to identify the company’s hiring needs and manage the recruitment process to ensure it runs smoothly
  • Work with area colleges and industry feeders to promote careers at company
  • Maintain a smooth onboarding process of all new hires and contract employees
  • Design and implement effective training and development plans for all employees
  • Administer required regulatory trainings
  • Work with department heads to ensure annual employee performance reviews are conducted in a timely and productive manner
  • Ensure all employee records are maintained and updated with new hire information or changes in employment status
  • Lead all employee relations tasks and initiatives
  • Respond to employees’ queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain compliance on all laws and regulations
  • Lead exit process in conjunction with department heads


  • Four-year college degree or equivalent in business administration, human resources, or a relevant field
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven work experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of labor legislation HR best practices
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid problem-solving and team management abilities
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Google GSuite)
  • Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now preferred
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative environment
  • Highest ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality
