What is the Sample Consumer Panel and how we use your information

We use the information we collect to create a variety of research insights for our clients. We use tools and methods to make sure that there is no reasonable possibility of identifying an individual panelist in the reports that we create for our clients.

The information we collect is:

• Combined with the responses/views/opinions of others who participated in the same research and reported back anonymously to the client that commissioned the study
• Used on an aggregated basis to determine which groups of people think certain things more than others
• Used to administer and operate incentives
• Occasionally used to re-contact you to validate your responses (if you have consented to us doing so)

In most studies, responses are treated as completely confidential. We will never intentionally disclose your personal information or individual responses to the client that commissioned the study or any third parties unless:

• You request or consent to sharing your identifying information and individual responses
• In the rare but possible circumstance that the information is subject to disclosure pursuant to judicial or other government subpoenas, warrants, orders or for similar legal or regulatory requirements

How we collect your data

Information we collect

The information we collect can contain your personal opinions as well as personal information such as name, gender, occupation, age, date of birth, email address, telephone number, etc. We may occasionally collect sensitive personal information depending on the study.

Where relevant to the research being undertaken, we may collect business contact information, such as company name, job title, and department. In addition, for online studies we will record your IP address, which type of browser you are using, your screen size, and other basic metrics using cookies. How we share the information with our Clients

Personal information collected through the Sample Consumer Panel is collected and maintained solely by Crowley Webb & Associates. We may share your personal information in the following ways:

1. Crowley Webb Employees. Sample will share personal information with employees who have a need to know for such information in order to manage Sample and conduct research.
2. Sample provides research services to third-party clients (“Sample Clients”) using the Sample Consumer Panel. Research data and responses are provided to Sample Clients scrubbed clean of any personal information.

We will not sell your personal information to third parties. Processing of incentives may result in your contact details being passed onto a third party, e.g., Amazon or other fulfilment retailer. This would purely be in order for the incentive to be sent out to you electronically and would not result in any marketing or follow up.

Reward points and Amazon e-gift cards

Upon completion of the profile survey, you will receive 100 reward points. If the survey is completed within 24 hours of receipt, you will receive 10 additional reward points. You can also earn 20 reward points for each qualified panel member you refer when they complete the profile survey. You will receive your own unique referral link upon completion of the profile survey. In order to receive your referral reward points, the referral must access Sample through this link. We will email you when we have opportunities for you to earn more reward points by successfully completing surveys. The number of points rewarded for subsequent surveys will be based on their length and complexity.

Once you earn 150 reward points, you can redeem them as a $15 Amazon e-gift card. Points can be redeemed at increasing intervals of 150, with each 150 points equating to $15 (300 points for a $30 gift card, 450 points for $45, etc.). We will notify you via email when you reach 150 points. At that point, you can choose to redeem your reward by confirming your email address, or you can choose to wait until you reach a higher reward point interval and then redeem a larger amount. When you choose to redeem your points by confirming your email address, you are consenting to letting us email your e-gift card through Amazon. We implement quality control checks for all our surveys to ensure respondents are submitting honest answers. We reserve the right to withhold reward points for any particular survey where respondents are determined to have failed the quality control checks.

Access Rights

Your cooperation in any Sample research is voluntary at all times, and we are always thankful for your help. You are entitled to access the personal information we hold about you (which is known as a respondent access request) and you have the right to update any incorrect information. Wherever reasonable and practical, we will carry out such a request.

You also have the right to withdraw consent you gave for participation in any of our research at any time by emailing us your request to have your personal details erased.

Your privacy is important to us. We take great care in protecting your privacy and the information you provide whilst conducting research with us (whether hosted on our own website, other websites on our behalf, or by any other means, including by telephone or face-to-face). Your submission to Sample research and/or provision of your personal information to Sample for the purposes of participation in our consumer panel constitutes your consent to the use, storage, processing, and transfer of that information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and these Terms and Conditions.

If you have been contacted by Sample and you do not believe you have given your permission or wish your information to be removed from the database, email us at legal@crowleywebb.com and we will remove you or update your preferences. Please allow us a reasonable timeframe for this request to take effect. We never knowingly invite children under the age of 18 to participate in research studies without taking measures to ensure appropriate consent from a parent or guardian.

We will retain your information indefinitely until/unless you opt out. We will continue to contact you to invite you to participate in research for which you are qualified indefinitely until/unless you opt out. In order to opt from your prior submission and to be removed from our Sample database please email legal@crowleywebb.com.
