Radah Baked Goods – the Black-owned, family-run bakery founded by Lee and Lavenia Thomas – has been feeding customers with purpose since 2020. Known for small batch treats and a big mission to give back, Radah has built a brand that shows up for people.
As part of our Chroma initiative, an ongoing effort to support minority-owned businesses with marketing and communications services, Radah came to us ready for what’s next.
So, when it came time to evolve that brand, the goal wasn’t to start over – it was to bring that feeling to life in a more meaningful and cohesive way.
Purpose, baked into every bite.
From the beginning, Radah has been about more than desserts. It’s about creating moments, supporting the community, and treating every customer like royalty.
That idea became the foundation for everything we built.
We developed a brand identity that reflects both sides of Radah – the playful, flavor-forward bakery people love, and the purpose-driven business that continues to make an impact across the communities they serve.

Our goal was to honor the energy Radah already had and give it the polish and consistency of a major brand. The result is a comprehensive brand book covering logo usage, color, typography, social media, design elements, and packaging – a complete toolkit for wherever Radah goes next.
Designed to show up (everywhere).
From Canva-ready social templates and animated Reels to packaging, patterns, and in-store moments, every element was designed to work hard and look good doing it. The result? A cohesive, recognizable experience wherever Radah shows up – on your feed, at your door, or across the counter.
We also defined clear voice and tone guidelines – friendly, first-person, and full of personality – so every caption, post, and message feels just as intentional as the product itself.
Logo and brand elements.
At the center of it all is the logo. A signature element of the Radah Baked Goods brand, the crown represents their mission to create feel-good desserts that bring people together, while treating every customer like royalty.
From a vibrant color palette to custom patterns, each element works together to create a cohesive look that feels unmistakably Radah. The result is a toolkit that’s not only visually distinct, but easy to use day to day.




Custom Canva templates.
We know social media is essential for small businesses, but it’s not always easy to keep up with. Between running the business and creating the product, finding the time (and energy) to design posts can be a challenge.
So we built a system that makes it simple.
Using Radah’s full suite of brand elements, we created custom Canva templates that take the guesswork out of posting. Now, it’s easier to stay consistent, highlight new flavors, promote events, and let Radah’s personality shine through, without starting from scratch every time.


Packaging.
We extended the brand into packaging, bringing the same bold colors, patterns, and personality into every box, bag, and detail.
