Honoring one of our fearless female leaders.

We’re a solid group here at Crowley Webb. We have plenty of people to thank for that, and as we reflect on the powerful women in this office on the heels of International Women’s Day, we wanted to show our appreciation for one of the most invaluable and inspiring leaders to step foot into The Sweeney – our very own Tricia Barrett.

In 2003, Tricia joined Crowley Webb as a senior account executive. Since joining, Tricia has made an incredible impact agency-wide, and today, she serves as one of our co-owners and as senior vice president and managing director of Crowley Webb and Praxis, our patient recruitment division.

There’s an undoubtable amount of love felt for Tricia. She’s a powerhouse with a passion for each person and project that crosses her path. To showcase just how much her impact has affected this agency, we’re sharing a few kind words from fellow Crowley Webbers. Well, maybe more than a few:

“Tricia is a knowledgeable, compassionate leader – a true role model for young women in the industry (like myself!). Her success and role as a female co-owner of Crowley Webb motivates every woman here to be the best they can be, in the hopes that we can be in her shoes one day!” – Paige Lamparelli, social media manager

She is also thoughtful and generous, and has great taste in Canadian music (yay for The Tragically Hip!) and a love of Buffalo hockey (go, Sabres!).” – Katie Hazel, associate creative director

“Tricia exemplifies grace under pressure. She goes above and beyond to make those on her team, as well as her clients, feel special. She also never shies away from tough situations, and she’s personally invested in finding effective solutions for problems.” – Janet Endres, strategy operations manager, Praxis

“Tricia leads by example and always with the best interest of the entire agency. She empowers her coworkers through trust and encouragement, and knows how to get the best out of everyone at the agency. Outside CW and Praxis, Tricia is deeply involved and invested in the WNY community, helping to impact and grow those organizations and causes close to her heart. I’m proud to be her partner, and I’m reminded of how impressive she is every time we interact.” – Biagio Patti, vice president and media director

“What stands out to me about Tricia is how she really tries to understand each employee and what motivates them. She takes it upon herself to make sure their role plays to their strengths. It’s rare to see that kind of personal investment and interest, especially from someone who has 100 other things to be focused on.” – Katie Briggs, outreach manager, Praxis

“Tricia is a leader who truly cares about the people she works with and honors the importance of work-life balance. She is the first to recognize personal milestones and birthdays in the most thoughtful ways and even gives the best hugs when people need them most! I also admire Tricia’s community involvement – not only is she an accomplished professional at work and devoted to her family and friends, but she takes time to share her talents with organizations that need her.” – Karen Renzi, director of strategy

“Tricia leads by example, showing that no job or task is too big or too small. She is extremely smart and savvy, and through her leadership, she makes those around her better!” – Kim Taddeo, marketing specialist, Praxis

“I don’t think anyone has had a greater impact on me professionally than Tricia. I feel so grateful to have had the opportunity, back when I was 22 years old, to spend those early days of my career just watching her work. By watching her, I’ve learned how to trust my instincts, use my voice, and resist the urge to say, ‘I’m sorry.’ Fourteen years later, I still watch Tricia every day, and every day I learn something new.” – Karen Grobe, senior director of project management, Praxis

“Tricia is one of the smartest, funniest, and most confident people I know. When working with her on anything, there’s never a doubt in my mind that we will achieve success. She’ll settle for nothing less. And while she has an account service and strategy background, she’s an amazing judge of creative. I could go on and on, but I’ll just end by saying I am proud to call her a partner and a friend.” – Matt Low, vice president and creative director

Cheers to Tricia!
