Announcing three new partners at Crowley Webb.

Every year, right around this time, we hold our annual agency retreat. It’s a day we all look forward to – full of company updates, team building, and group learning. This year, we received some pretty exciting news. In addition to reflections on growing to 88 employees, winning 17 new clients, and receiving dozens of local, regional, and national advertising awards, the agency announced that we’re bolstering leadership to take the company into the next era. We’re excited to announce that we’ve officially doubled our shareholder group with the addition of Tricia Barrett, Matt Low, and Biagio Patti. The trio joins Jim Hettich (chairman and CEO), Jeff Pappalardo (chief creative officer), and Jim Crowley (SVP and media director) as co-owners of the agency.

Let’s reacquaint ourselves with these Crowley Webb veterans.

Meet Tricia Barrett.

Job title: Tricia currently serves as senior vice president and managing director for both Crowley Webb and Praxis, which is the agency’s industry-leading patient recruitment and retention healthcare division.

How many years at the agency? 16

What’s your proudest accomplishment since joining Crowley Webb? “Witnessing and contributing to the agency’s growth. When I joined the agency in 2003, there were roughly 30 people, and today the agency is near 90 people. My best days are when I’m able to recognize and promote my team members for their hard work.”

Community involvement: Tricia currently serves as the board chair for Leadership Buffalo. She also serves on the executive committee at the Saturn Club and is co-chair of the alumni council at Elmwood Franklin School. Tricia serves on the advisory council for the John Carroll University Tim Russert Department of Communication and Theatre. Tricia is a 2016 recipient of Buffalo Business First’s “40 Under 40.”

What does being a shareholder mean to you? “When I look back at my 16 years at Crowley Webb, I see that the industry has changed so much, and it’s been such fun to be a part of the evolution. When I look forward to the future, especially knowing the strength of the agency and the leadership we have in place, I can’t wait to tackle what comes next.”

Being a part of a place that values creativity in all forms and consistently doing great work with awesome people – it’s never felt like a job.”

Community involvement: Matt currently serves on the Buffalo Museum of Science’s special events committee and the board of directors for Friends of Night People. He served on the board of AAF Buffalo for five years, as well as the board of trustees for Bishop Timon – St. Jude High School for two years.

What does being a shareholder mean to you? “This company, its history, its culture, and its people mean everything to me. This place is family. This place is home. I am honored and humbled to have been named shareholder by Jim, Jeff, and Jimmy, alongside two people I care for and admire immensely. Now, let’s get back to work.”
